Highlights
The presenter is long shares of Anthem Inc (ANTM), which trade at 10x 2021 eps. He believes the company is one of the best self help stories in healthcare and that the market has under-forecasted their Medicare Advantage growth rate. In addition, he thinks that under the guidance of CEO Gail Boudreaux, the company should be able to close the gap with UNH, the best player in the managed care space. As Boudreaux begins to implement new strategies and reinvests in periphery services, he expects ANTM’s multiple will expand toward UNH’s ~15x multiple, implying 50% upside in the stock.
