Highlights
Although perhaps not immediately obvious upon first glance, the presenter sees Hertz as something of an analogue to more traditional financials firms. The company, after all, employs a debt-funded model in order to buy earning assets - rental cars, in its own unique case. Shares of the company look like they may finally be poised to benefit from the wave of industry consolidation that culminated with the approval of Hertz’s acquisition of Dollar Thrifty earlier this year.
