Highlights

The recent acquisition of Lender Processing Services (LPS) by Fidelity National Financial (FNF) was a “game changer,” in the presenter’s opinion. He is long shares of the largest title insurance player in America, and likes the recently announced plan to set up a tracking stock for FNF’s non-core assets. Separating those businesses from the US real estate-focused assets will allow capable CEO William Foley to invest cash flows in the core platform in a more constructive manner, as well as potentially return more cash to shareholders.
