Highlights

The presenter is long shares of Envision Healthcare (EVHC), which provides emergency room (ER), anesthesiology, hospitalist, radiology, and surgery services in 41 states through its EmCare division, and also provides ambulance services through its AMR segment. In addition, an emerging segment within EmCare- Evolution Health - has been growing rapidly. Shares came under significant pressure in October, 2015 and dropped over $10 in one day following a disappointing 3rd quarter earnings announcement. The presenter characterizes EVHC as a “broken growth stock” but sees the $21 level (roughly where the stock came public in 2013) as an attractive entry point. He expects shares to trade back up to the low $30s as EBITDA growth persists through 2016 and results exceed relatively conservative guidance.
