Highlights
The presenter is long shares of Grupo Televisa (TV), the largest media conglomerate in Mexico. Given TV’s size and scale, and the US revenue opportunity through its stake in Univision, he sees the potential to hold the position for at least the next 24 months. The hispanic demographic (18% of the population) is among the fastest growing in the US, and Univision is “must have” in any cable package. Depending on how a number of catalysts ultimately play out, including potential capital structure changes, improvement in carriage rates, and content monetization, upside should be to at least the $50 - $55 range.
