Highlights

The presenter is long shares of Babcock & Wilcox (BWC) ahead of the recently announced (November 2014) spin-off of BWC’s Power Generation business. This will allow BWX Technologies (BWXT) to focus solely on the nuclear industry. While the structure is somewhat confusing on the surface - Power Generation is being spun-off, but remains BWC - and the timing is “mid-summer,” the tax-free spin-off should result in the value of BWXT being quickly recognized by the market.
