Highlights
The presenter is bullish on shares of Zebra Technologies (ZBRA), which completed the acquisition of Motorola Solutions' Enterprise business (“Enterprise” - a $3.45 billion deal) in October, 2014. He thinks the strategic deal sets the company up nicely to benefit from the current replacement cycle, and views management’s synergies guidance as conservative. The complementary nature of the Enterprise business allows ZBRA to offer its retail customers a complete end-to-end solution (including RFID tag, access ID, customer engagement, mobile payment, and self service solutions). This allows retailers to more effectively engage consumers (via mobile coupons and interactive kiosks), and given the average age of equipment in the market, the combined business can be expected to outperform as the cycle picks up steam. Applying a market multiple to the midpoint of his EPS forecast range over the next 12 months suggests shares of ZBRA can trade up to $135.
